Backwoods Bark®

Text Box: Zac and his team are THE source for reclaimed wood products.
John C. –
Georgia

We didn’t invent the use of tree bark for homebuilding.  We just perfected it.  BackwoodsBark® is based on the time-tested, pioneer proven principal of using tree bark for weatherboarding in dwellings.  First used by Native Americans in the Appalachian Mountain region, this unique building material offers superior durability and a look that is sure to add a uniquely rustic appeal to any home.  This creative building accent offers the use of indigenous materials to accurately represent Appalachian Mountain cultural style.

Appalachian Antique Hardwood’s staff hand select the finest pre-harvested poplar trees.  After hand peeling and squaring, we kiln dry every piece.  The final result is BackwoodsBark®, the country’s leading bark siding product.
